🎯 Key Responsibilities

🔹 Lead end-to-end planning strategy across multiple manufacturing units, customers, products and gauges.

🔹 Drive demand forecasting, capacity planning, S&OP and production loading.

🔹 Optimize capacity utilization, order allocation, production sequencing and delivery performance.

🔹 Ensure planning decisions support sales, profitability, productivity and customer commitments.

🔹 Lead cross-functional coordination with Merchandising, Commercial, Supply Chain, Production, IE, Quality and Factory teams.

🔹 Monitor WIP, plan vs. actual, capacity constraints, delivery risks and forecast reliability.

🔹 Drive digital planning, dashboards, AI-enabled forecasting and data-driven decision making.

🔹 Lead, develop and standardize the central and factory planning teams.

🎓 Qualifications

🔹 Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain or related field.

🔹 Strong knowledge of Sweater manufacturing, capacity planning and production processes.

🔹 Strong analytical, commercial and strategic planning skills.

🔹 Proficiency in ERP/Planning systems, MS Excel and data analytics; exposure to AI/digital planning is an advantage.

💼 Experience

🔹 15+ years of relevant experience in planning within the Sweater/knitwear manufacturing industry.

🔹 Proven experience managing multi-factory planning, demand forecasting, capacity and production loading.

🔹 Experience in S&OP, order allocation, WIP management and end-to-end planning governance.

🔹 Strong leadership experience managing central and factory planning teams.
