🎯 Qualifications & Experience

🎓 Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, Apparel, Textile Engineering, or a relevant discipline

👔 8–10 years of experience in apparel Design & Product Development, preferably with a reputed sourcing office or factory

🇺🇸 **Strong expertise in Design & Development for premium US Brands is highly preferred**

👗 Proven expertise in **Womenswear & Kidswear** product development

🎨 Strong understanding of fashion trends, styling, fabrics, colors, trims and garment aesthetics

💻 Proficiency in **Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop** and relevant design tools

📐 Strong knowledge of tech packs, specifications, garment construction and sample development

🌎 Experience working with international brands/buyers will be an advantage

 

🚀 Key Responsibilities

 

🎨 Develop creative, commercially viable products aligned with premium US brand requirements

👗 Lead **Womenswear & Kidswear** design and product development from concept to final sample

🧵 Research trends, fabrics, silhouettes, colors and seasonal collections

📐 Prepare and review **tech packs, BOMs, specifications and construction details**

🤝 Collaborate with Merchandising, Technical, Sourcing and Production teams

🔍 Review samples, fittings and prototypes and ensure timely corrections

💰 Ensure products meet **quality, cost, aesthetic and commercial expectations**

⏱️ Manage development calendars and ensure timely submission of samples

👥 Guide and mentor junior design/development team members
