🔍 Head of Internal Audit [GM/ Sr. GM Level]

🎯 Key Responsibilities

🔹 Develop and implement the annual internal audit plan based on organizational risks.

🔹 Lead financial, operational, compliance, and process audits across factories and corporate offices.

🔹 Evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.

🔹 Identify potential fraud, irregularities, and control weaknesses, ensuring timely corrective actions.

🔹 Review compliance with company policies, local regulations, buyer requirements, and statutory obligations.

🔹 Present audit findings, risk assessments, and recommendations to senior management and the Board.

🔹 Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and track corrective action plans.

🔹 Support enterprise risk management initiatives and corporate governance frameworks.

🔹 Lead, mentor, and develop the internal audit team to ensure high professional standards.

 

🎓 Educational Requirements

✅ Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

✅ Professional certifications such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CIA, or CISA will be highly preferred.

 

💼 Experience Requirements

✅ 15 years of progressive experience in Internal Audit, Finance, Compliance, or Risk Management.

✅ Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role within a large manufacturing or garment group.

✅ Strong understanding of internal controls, audit methodologies, risk assessment, and corporate governance.

✅ Experience in the RMG/Apparel manufacturing sector will be highly advantageous.
