A reputed apparel manufacturing company is looking for a dynamic and experienced “Senior Merchandiser (Woven)” to join their growing team at Head Office at Gulshan, Dhaka.
📋 Key Responsibilities
🧥 Handle buyers independently from sampling to shipment
📞 Communicate with buyers, suppliers & production teams
📦 Ensure on-time shipment with required quality standards
💰 Prepare costing sheets & price negotiations
🔍 Monitor production status & resolve issues proactively
📑 Maintain proper documentation & reporting
🎓 Education
📘 Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Engineering / Apparel Manufacturing / Apparel Merchandising
📚 Training in Merchandising / Supply Chain Management (Added advantage)
🧵 Experience, Qualifications & Skills
🏷️ 6–7 years of experience in Woven Garments Merchandising
🌍 Experience working with international buyers specially Inditex Brands
👔 Strong knowledge of woven product development & bulk production
📊 Strong costing & pricing knowledge
🧾 Expertise in order follow-up from development to shipment
🗂️ Ability to handle T&A (Time & Action) calendar efficiently
🧶 Sound knowledge of fabrics, trims, washing & finishing
📦 Production planning & coordination skills
📈 Strong negotiation & communication skills
💻 Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
✈️ Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
🤝 Leadership & team management ability
