We are looking for an experienced “Senior Merchandiser / Merchandiser (Jersey)” to join a Multinational Apparel Sourcing/Trading Company in Dhaka. If you have strong hands-on experience working with NEXT buyer and a solid background in knit / jersey garments, we’d love to hear from you.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
👕 Manage product development, sampling, and approvals as per buyer requirements
📋 Handle orders from confirmation to final shipment
🧵 Source fabrics, trims, and accessories ensuring quality & cost targets
💰 Prepare accurate costing and negotiate with factories and suppliers
🏭 Follow up on production and ensure on-time delivery
🤝 Maintain strong communication with buyer and internal teams
🔹 Experience & Qualifications
🎓 Bachelor’s Degree in Textile / Apparel Merchandising or related field
🕒 4–8 years of relevant experience in apparel merchandising
🛍️ Mandatory experience with NEXT buyer
👕 Strong knowledge of Jersey / Knit garments
🌐 Experience with foreign buying offices or factories preferred
🔹 Skills Required
✔ Strong communication & negotiation skills
✔ Excellent time management and problem-solving ability
✔ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
✔ Proficiency in MS Excel & merchandising systems
