💼 Merchandiser – Home Textiles

🏢 A Multinational Apparel Retailer’s Liaison Office

Salary Range : Around 90,000 per month plus other benefits

 

📋 Key Responsibilities

🔹 Manage the complete merchandising process from product development to shipment

🔹 Coordinate with suppliers/factories for sampling, costing, production, quality, and delivery

🔹 Follow up on product development, sample approvals, order placement, and production status

🔹 Prepare and review cost sheets, order details, T&A plans, and shipment schedules

🔹 Liaise with buyers, suppliers, factories, QA, and internal teams to ensure smooth order execution

🔹 Monitor quality, production timelines, compliance, and on-time delivery

🔹 Identify potential sourcing opportunities and support supplier/factory development

🔹 Handle buyer communications and resolve production, quality, and delivery-related issues

🔹 Ensure all orders are executed according to the retailer’s quality, compliance, and commercial standards

 

🎯 Qualifications & Experience

🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion, Apparel, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline

💼 6-7 years of experience in Home Textiles merchandising, preferably with a buying house, sourcing office, or international retailer

🧵 Strong knowledge of Home Textile products such as bed linen, towels, cushions, curtains, kitchen textiles, and related products

🌍 Experience working with international buyers/retailers and understanding their quality, compliance, and sourcing requirements

💻 Good command of MS Office, Excel, costing, T&A, and merchandising systems

🗣️ Strong English communication skills — both written and spoken

🤝 Excellent coordination, negotiation, follow-up, and interpersonal skills
