🎯 Role Purpose

Lead Bangladesh production execution, quality assurance, factory management and delivery performance across customer accounts, working closely with the North American Sourcing team on costing, factory qualification and commercial decisions.

 

🔑 Key Responsibilities

👥 Lead production, QA and compliance teams; coordinate locally with merchandising and account management teams.

🏭 Oversee end-to-end production from development and sampling through bulk execution, shipment and claim resolution.

📅 Monitor T&A, factory capacity, material readiness, production planning, daily output and shipment commitments.

🤝 Maintain strong factory and supplier relationships; conduct regular factory visits and evaluate supplier performance.

🔍 Ensure compliance with customer specifications, testing standards, AQL requirements and inspection protocols.

📊 Maintain accurate, real-time WIP, sampling, production and QA records in WFX/PFD systems, ensuring timely reporting and data verification.

💰 Review garment costing, consumption, material costs and supplier quotations; provide costing input and escalate commercial risks to Head Quarter.

🚨 Identify production, quality and delivery risks early, drive corrective actions and develop recovery plans.

🌐 Pre-qualify factories for prospective business and strengthen operational readiness.

🤖 Drive digital system adoption, process improvement, automation and AI-enabled operational efficiency.

 

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

🔍 Degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering.

🔍 Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in apparel sourcing, garment production, quality assurance and factory management.

🔍 Strong knowledge of Bangladesh’s apparel manufacturing, export operations, CMT factories and supplier networks.

🔍 Expertise in knit, woven, Outerwear apparel, costing, fabrics, trims, testing, T&A, production planning and AQL.

🔍 Familiarity with ERP, WIP and digital reporting systems; WFX experience is an advantage.

🔍 Strong leadership, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills, with excellent English and Bangla proficiency.

🔍 Willingness to travel frequently to factories and mills.
