🎯 Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Production Manager – Hats & Caps to lead manufacturing operations, optimize production efficiency, ensure product quality, and drive operational excellence in a reputed headwear manufacturing facility.

 

🔑 Key Responsibilities

🏭 Production Management: Oversee end-to-end production of hats and caps, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to production targets.

📊 Planning & Execution: Develop production plans, manage capacity, optimize workflows, and ensure efficient utilization of manpower and machinery.

✅ Quality Assurance: Maintain stringent quality standards throughout cutting, embroidery, printing, stitching, finishing, and packing processes.

⚙️ Operational Excellence: Implement lean manufacturing, productivity improvement, waste reduction, and cost-control initiatives.

👥 Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors, line leaders, and shop-floor teams.

📦 Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate with merchandising, sourcing, procurement, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure uninterrupted production.

📈 Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor KPIs for productivity, efficiency, quality, wastage, and on-time delivery.

🦺 Compliance & Safety: Ensure workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

🤝 Continuous Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.

🎓 Education

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Management, or a related discipline.

A postgraduate qualification in Operations or Supply Chain Management will be an advantage.

 

🏆 Experience & Qualifications

🧢 Minimum 12-15 years of experience in manufacturing, including substantial experience in a senior production management role.

🧢 Strong hands-on experience in hats, caps, or headwear manufacturing is MUST.

🧢 In-depth knowledge of cutting, sewing, embroidery, printing, finishing, and packing operations relevant to headwear.

🧢 Proven track record in production planning, capacity management, quality improvement, and cost optimization.

🧢 Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

🧢 Proficiency in production planning systems, ERP, MS Excel, and KPI-based performance monitoring.

🧢 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.

🧢 Ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver production targets under tight deadlines.
