💼 General Manager – Quality (Denim)

📌 Key Responsibilities

🔹 Lead and manage complete quality functions across Cutting, Sewing, Washing/Laundry, Finishing & Packing operations

🔹 Drive quality strategy and ensure consistent achievement of customer quality standards and factory KPIs

🔹 Oversee quality assurance systems across 1M pcs/month denim bottom production capacity

🔹 Establish and strengthen SOPs, quality frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives

🔹 Analyze defects, identify root causes, and implement CAPA to improve quality performance

🔹 Lead inline, end-line, and final quality management activities to reduce DHU and enhance efficiency

🔹 Ensure compliance with international buyer requirements, customer protocols, and audit standards

🔹 Partner closely with Production, Technical, Industrial Engineering, Merchandising, and Operations teams

🔹 Lead customer visits, technical discussions, and quality review meetings with global brands

🔹 Build, mentor, and develop a strong quality team to drive high-performance culture

 

🎓 Educational Qualification

🔹 Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field

 

💼 Experience

🔹 18–20+ years of experience in apparel manufacturing quality operations

🔹 Minimum 5+ years in senior leadership position handling large-scale denim quality operations

🔹 Strong hands-on experience in Denim Bottom Manufacturing involving Cut, Sew & Laundry processes

🔹 Proven experience handling high-volume production capacity (approximately 1 million pcs/month)

🔹 Exposure to working with international retailers, brands, sourcing offices, and global manufacturing environments preferred

🔹 Deep understanding of denim construction, garment washing, finishing, and quality systems

🔹 Expertise in AQL, DHU control, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, CAPA & Root Cause Analysis

🔹 Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

🔹 Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

🔹 Strong command of English (written and spoken)
