🧑‍💼 Position Overview

TJS Consultants is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead Compliance & Sustainability functions for a fully export-oriented knit composite manufacturing environment. The role requires strategic leadership, global compliance expertise, and strong sustainability knowledge aligned with international buyer requirements.

 

📌 Key Responsibilities

🔹 Lead social, environmental & technical compliance across factory operations

🔹 Ensure compliance with international buyer codes of conduct

🔹 Drive sustainability strategy (energy, water, waste, carbon footprint reduction)

🔹 Oversee audits (buyer, third-party, certification bodies)

🔹 Manage certifications & standards implementation

🔹 Develop ESG reporting & sustainability disclosures

🔹 Coordinate with production, HR & merchandising teams

🔹 Ensure legal & regulatory compliance (local & international)

🔹 Lead continuous improvement & ethical sourcing initiatives

 

💼 Experience

🕒 15+ years in knit composite factory (Spinning, Knitting, Dyeing, Finishing)

🌎 Strong background in handling buyer audits & sustainability programs in export-oriented garments/textiles

 

🏅 Qualifications & Skills

✅ Strong knowledge of global compliance standards

✅ Experience with BSCI / SEDEX / WRAP / RSC audits

✅ Expertise in ISO 14001, ISO 45001 implementation

✅ Strong leadership & team management skills

✅ Excellent communication & reporting ability

✅ Strategic thinker with problem-solving capability

✅ Strong knowledge of environmental regulations

✅ Experience in ESG reporting & carbon management

✅ Ability to liaise with international buyers

 

🎓 Education

🎓 Bachelor’s/Master’s in Environmental Science, Textile Engineering, Sustainability, or related subject from reputed University

📜 ISO Lead Auditor / Social Compliance Certification

📑 Audit & compliance management experience
